Article Expansion[edit]

Thanks Jerome for the additional details. I've found that the G. Schirmer Inc website has the [composers notes for this symphony]. Not sure on incorporating them into this article though.Graham1973 (talk) 13:58, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Incorporation" is a dangerous concept. That source must certainly be regarded as reliable, but it is certainly copyrighted, so be sure to attribute any direct quotations. On the whole, it is best to digest the information and write your own prose, with a source reference to verify the facts.—Jerome Kohl (talk) 18:32, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This is why I mentioned it here rather than going ahead with simply adding the material. Thanks for all the help to date. Thinking of adding a Template box similar to the one used for the other symphony series, but have never done it before, anything I should watch for?Graham1973 (talk) 17:44, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I don't have a lot of experience with infoboxes (which is what I think you mean by "template box"), but it sounds like a good idea. The ones that I have dealt with were easy enough to use: just copy the infobox template and fill in as many blanks as appropriate. If you don't have all the information you would like, just leave the category blank and maybe someone else can supply the data later.—Jerome Kohl (talk) 18:26, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
