Morevna[edit]

"Since May 2008[5], a group of Russian volunteers have been trying to make an animation movie project called Morevna project." What is Morevna Project, and what does it have to do with synfig? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sepero1 (talkcontribs) 16:54, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's a big and demanding project (or set of projects, really) that has driven a lot of the recent development on and around Synfig, for example the creation of Render-chan batching assistant. More detail on this has been added since your comment and I think a little more yet could be. Arlo James Barnes 21:47, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Paradox[edit]

"Synfig is a free and open source [...] animation program" that "stores its animations in a proprietary xml-based-format"??? How so? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.124.61.76 (talkcontribs) 13:06, 14 July 2008

Synfig xml file format is in no way proprietary.--Grondilu (talk) 01:14, 26 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No Mac OS X port[edit]

According to the Synfig page, there is currently no one working on the Mac OS X port, so it has been taken off-line. Ogram (talk) 00:08, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The download subpage of www.synfig.org shows an OS X package, when you click on it it shows 0.62.00, so should be there still.--87.180.147.164 (talk) 22:25, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Synfig appears to be dead[edit]

Try the help section, and you will see only dead links and no content --51.9.225.192 (talk) 22:24, 12 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
