[edit]Created disambig page because the previous redirect apparently misled at least one Wikipedia editor to incorrectly equate "the Taira family" with "the Taira clan" and thus misquote a source that referred to the Ise branch as "the Taira family". ("virtually the entire Taira family was hunted down and murdered" became "As Yoritomo consolidated his power, he had every member of the Taira clan killed." before later being altered to "As Yoritomo consolidated his power, he had nearly every member of the Taira clan killed.".[1][2]) Hijiri 88 (聖やや) 11:08, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
