@Schwede66: OK, that is another solution. I doubt whether anyone would ever search for that title. I think not, so perhaps deletion is preferable. However, turning it into a redirect is also a tidy solution. (I would still propose to remove it from the Mainland Islands section of the Template:Protected areas of New Zealand - which by the way has significant gaps in structure and content - a task for another day)Marshelec (talk) 09:47, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Changed to a redirect page, following feedback. The description of Te Urewera as "Mainland Island" was part of a programme by Department of Conservation. The area is now owned and managed by Tuhoe and is no longer a National Park. The "mainland island" description is no longer applicable following the change of ownership (ie there is no programme of this name in place at Te Urewera). A response to an Official Information Act request explains the status as at 2020. [1])Marshelec (talk) 22:52, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
