[edit]I really think a picture of teal should be included. Trying to describe a color in words is quite difficult. 98.155.30.229 (talk) 20:23, 21 August 2015 (UTC)
Arizona Diamondbacks
[edit]Didn't the Arizona Diamondbacks have teal as a color in their original color scheme? --BigMac1212 (talk) 04:42, 1 December 2015 (UTC)

MSU/Larry Nassar case
[edit]The "sister survivors" of the Nassar abuse scandal have adopted teal as a color to show solidarity. See, for instance, this news story. Should this be added? jalp 2600:1700:CF30:6E90:1C9F:573E:15A2:2F17 (talk) 19:54, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
Possible removal from list
[edit]An entry in List of colors: N–Z contained a link to this page.
The entry is :
- Teal deer
- Teal green
I don't see any evidence that this color is discussed in this article and plan to delete it from the list per this discussion: Talk:List_of_colors#New_approach_to_review_of_entries
If someone decides that this color should have a section in this article and it is added, I would appreciate a ping.--S Philbrick(Talk) 13:30, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
TV Teal
[edit]In culture, TV series: The Australian Cult show Wentworth has teal uniforms, though it is more like cyan. In the dialogue, they refer to wearing their uniform as 'wearing the teal'. It is a show mostly about women, so it is probably not noticed by Wikipedia Nerds. I would find a suitable jpeg and a link to the show and make the addition myself, but my previous attempts to comment on anything Wikipeditious (if that is the correct adjective) were met by very rude, denigrating and insulting rejections. Insects are not culture
[edit]Insects is an inappropriate subsection of section in culture.
”In science and nature” is a common section on color articles, and probably should be used instead. Bert303 (talk) 08:18, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
