Seems to me

It seems to me that discussion of who Ted Williams was belongs strictly in his article, not in this one. - Denimadept 13:55, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A quick summary of who he was is appropriate, any more than that belongs in his article. Saying that he was a former Red Sox player and Marine falls within what is appropriate.
