[edit]Can this be the right word for this weapon? Tepoz- would suggest it's made of metal, and so would refer to a European lance (like a tepozmacquahuitl is a European sword, as opposed to a wooden macquahuitl). --Ptcamn 03:42, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
- Good point - it is however the name it is known by in the scholarly literature. It is also found in Molina with the same meaning - but you are probably right that the prehispanic weapon originally had another name.·Maunus· ·ƛ· 07:06, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
Tepoztopilli War
[edit]tepoztopilli wars could have been a spearhead wars between the city states of Mesoamerica all of them trying to migrate towards the ancient and massive city of Tenochitlan.
