You've identified some intriguing examples, but you lack significant discussions on the importance of these intermediates in many chemical reactions. The mechanistic discussions could also use a lot more work.
Suggestions:
- These are commonly known as tetrahedral intermediates. You may want to rename the page.
- Flesh out Bender's experiments. How did they work? How do they show tetrahedral intermediates exist?
- Weinreb amides? What factors contribute to the stability of these intermediates? What implications does this have for reactivity?
- The X-ray crystal structures should be shown in 3D. Ask me if you don't know how to do that.
- Please use standard ACS settings in ChemDraw to make your diagrams.
- I would like to see a lot more work done on this before the next midterm.
