I propose a proposition: that we may form a soyish alternative to flax and cotton. Turning soy into textiles is possible, and advisable. The industrial productivities of some states are below par, but we can do better.

I have no doubt that other fibres can be used for textiles. There is no reason in principle why there should not be articles on these. However, information on them should NOT be added to this article (except as a link to an article on another kind of textile mill), becsaue this article is essentailly a disambiguation page.
