Cadfæl was ITV not BBC…?

[edit]

I don’t think any of the Derek Jacobi adaptations were made for the BBC, as the article states, but for ITV; I know that other series have jumped channels from time to time (“Rumpole” piloted on the BBC, but went to series on ITV) so can’t say for certain. The BBC did adapt some Cadfæl to the radio, but not with Derek Jacobi. Jock123 (talk) 10:37, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It was for ITV, the whole series was on ITV. This you tube video shows the covers of the DVDs, all 'as seen on ITV'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVM91Z164H0

Seems like the writer in the Cadfael Chronicles on television, source of the sloppy remark, mixed up up BBC with British. So I changed this.

In the US, they were shown on PBS, but I am not sure if any other channels also showed them, and not sure how to research that!
