Timeline Contradiction

[edit]

There is a statement that the island gained fame after it was featured in a 1943 film. However, elsewhere in the article it is stated that the dolls began to be hung in the 1950s. 24.227.128.66 (talk) 20:46, 10 January 2020 (UTC)Mario Flores[reply]

Hello! I stumbled across this article and it seems like it needs some pretty thorough work! There are a lot of contradictory theories and time-lines surrounding the legends of the island and Santana's life, and I haven't been able to find an authoritative version. I suggest creating a topic that specifically recounts commonly held beliefs around the island and includes contradictory theories; maybe "In Local Legend" or "Supernatural Theories" ? I'm currently working on a new version, but I wanted to check in on the talk page before publishing! If anyone has suggestions I would love to hear them! If it's a go, I also suggest using Barrera versus Santana to avoid confusion with relatives I've found quoted in various publications! Goodlucklemonpig (talk) 00:11, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
