Spoilers in the description?
[edit]Literally the second sentence in the article gives away a major plot twist. There must be a better way of putting it without spoiling experience of others. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.134.46.141 (talk) 23:19, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, that is a bit of a problem. Due to WP:DISCLAIM, there is no such thing as a spoiler template because of the unavoidable spoiler nature of a plot section —"plot" = "spoiler" assumes the reader is paying attention though— and the yada-yada of wikipedia's encyclopaedic nature. The twist is the main feature of the book and omitting would be "un-encyclopaedic".
- Surely you jest. If you're looking at the thing's Wikipedia article, you've made your peace with spoiling the plot twists for yourself. — LlywelynII 04:41, 13 April 2019 (UTC)
Term clarification
[edit]Is a school master a student or teacher position in the English education system? I have inserted a "Clarification" message under the "School years" section due to my uncertainty with this term.--Soulparadox 10:11, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
- I've added a link to the Wikipedia page for 'schoolmaster' as an explanation for those who don't understand. Supervegan (talk) 17:35, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
Copy edited
[edit]Copy edited all sections on 25/05/2013, particularly focusing on plot synopsis. However I read this book several years ago so not sure how well this section flows. In any case the plot section is not long enough to warrant separate sections so these have been removed, and I have tried to write it in a way that will make sense to someone who has not read the book. Please edit further if needed :) Supervegan (talk) 16:06, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
