Removed comment

[edit]

I've removed the comment "Most anything he says that is funny was written by either Stephen Sherrill or Josh Orton." left by an anonymous user because it sounds like it's just a dig at Seder. If it's factually correct, it should be reworded before it goes back into the article. - dcljr (talk) 21:01, 6 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I would add that if it's factually correct, it should be referenced. Who said that? --Asbl 05:01, 15 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I see the Itunes link (under Music) has been in the article for a while, so I assume it's relevant. It needs to be explained in some way, though. - dcljr (talk) 18:29, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

it's own page?

[edit]

hey, anyone else think the sam seder show deserves its own page at this point? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.72.85.26 (talk) 22:01, 12 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

I do, but I don't feel qualified to take on that task right now. But, yeah, it should. TiffanyMarsh

Podcast?

[edit]

I added the Infobox radio show. I am not sure how to add the podcast. I presume the URL to zune://subscribe/?MajorityReport=http://feeds.feedburner.com/MajorityReport is the podcast URL, but the help page on the Infobox not mentions zune:// . Any heads up appreciated. --Rava77 (talk) 01:16, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Vote/consensus on moving Michael Brooks to a new article

[edit]

Hi everyone,

As you know, longtime host Michael Brooks passed away today. It has been brought to my attention that a new article has been made about him, instead of keeping his information on this article. I thought we could vote on the issue and make a consensus whether to keep the information surrounding his death on this article, or to move it to another article that may contain more information.

I personally oppose the move. There just isn't enough information, personal or otherwise, on Michael Brooks to make him notable or to craft a very satisfactory Wikipedia article. We barely know his birthday and don't really know where he lived or much on his background. -HandIsNotNookls (talk) 03:35, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

His birthday is August 13, he grew up relatively poor, he had talked on air at length about his background. I understand that this comment is really late, but the man was an author, commentator, met with Lula da Silva, and was even helping to the magazine Jacobin form a studio to create online video content. People have been given pages for less. Full bias here, since personally Michael Brooks had been an influence on me personally, politically, and even spiritually. The article that ended up being written was wonderful.~𝓜𝓙𝓛'𝓼 𝓔𝓿𝓲𝓵 𝓢𝓲𝓼𝓽𝓮𝓻 (talk) 20:27, 7 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Is "The Majority Report" considered part of the "Dirtbag Left"?

[edit]

I was just wondering if we should make a link or put some information linking the show with the Dirtbag left since it does have some similarities with shows like Chapo Trap House and streamers like Hasan Piker. Since they often have the hosts from those programs on the show, I figured that The Majority Report is also considered part of that group. Any thoughts on this? Sarah Silverman

[edit]

Yeah I don't think Sam Seder is married to Sarah Silverman. I think someone just thought that was cute with the 2 SS... 58.104.30.135 (talk) 10:44, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
