Introduction

[edit]

The introduction is stupidly difficult to read, full of long run-on sentences. I would translate it to something readable but I have no idea what it is even trying to say. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.46.159.220 (talk) 08:30, 9 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Too Much Plot?

[edit]

I edited the page to include a detailed plot synopsis from beginning to end, as per other articles about films in Wikipedia. Have I written too much, but I did it as concise as I could. User:82.69.9.61

Is the Richard Simmons a parody or not? The first two paragraphs contradict each other.98.24.122.5 (talk) 20:53, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well you sure explained alot. There are hillarious scenes in that movie. First of all the Hamster scene was gross but hillarious when I saw it. There is also the farting scene of Sherman Klumps dad which made Serman worried. I felt bad for Sherman when that crazy Raggae made fun of his size. Speaking of size, He does grow into "Fatzilla" walking around in the city and makes a huge fart. I like Sherman better than Buddy love because he is jolly and funny instead of being a huge mouth and being arrogent. Hope youliked the movie.- User:Creation Christian

Mistakes

[edit]

Yeah I added the Mistakes section, and hopefully it doesn't get deleted from the page, cause the facts there are true.User:awochamp11 —Preceding comment was added at 14:52, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Censorship section

[edit]

I've tried to add in a censorship section. However, it keeps being deleted. I don't get it. I sourced it, and besides which, if Good Burger is allowed a censorship section, then this movie definitely should be allowed one as well, since I can't see what's different between the two that allows one to have it, and not the other. Yeah, WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. I can't monitor all of Wikipedia for unnotable content and up until now, I've never been to Good Burger. I've got to say, that's a terrible article with a lot more problems than just the censorship section. It's baffling that you would use that as an example. On a side note, don't link to copyrighted content on Youtube anymore. Such copyright violations are not allowed.--Atlan (talk) 19:18, 17 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not WP:NOTABLE. Also WP:OVERSECTION. There are some possible cases where censorship might be mentioned, if properly sourced. It might be mentioned as part of the Production section, or it might be mentioned explaining different versions that may have been released on DVD. There was nothing to suggest that this case of a few swearwords being dubbed for broadcast television was in any way special or notable. -- 109.78.203.202 (talk) 16:21, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Universities and colleges in art

[edit]

Hello all. Although, most of the plot of the movie The Nutty Professor (1996 film) happens inside a university campus, someone does not let me categorize this movie in Category:Universities and colleges in art. I hope some one gives more thought to this matter. Thank you. Yom Tov Jerusalem (talk) 10:10, 5 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Production

[edit]

Found great production information about Rick Baker and the make-up effects for this film, and how they were involved early in the development of the project. As this film won an Oscar for makeup effects it is a shame the article does not included detailed information about what is a very important part of the film.

If anyone else wants to expand this article please do. I might come back and do it myself eventually but don't wait up. -- 109.76.195.16 (talk) 16:15, 29 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I've included it as a reference to briefly explain how the fat suit was made. There is much more that could be included, Mama Klump etc. -- 109.78.203.202 (talk) 15:56, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
