[edit]Is this the official title of the book and what is the source of that information? --217.76.87.120 (talk) 20:29, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
- There is no official title for the English version yet as far as I know, nor even a publication date. Books 1-3 were published in March of 2007, 2008, and 2009 respectively. There is an official title for the Japanese version of the book. Premium collection #2 (anime) refers to the book as "A Great Distance in the Wind, the Sky at Dawn". However, when each book has been published in English, the title has been chopped in half for brevity. If the title I selected turns out to differ from the official title, the page will have to be moved. Billebrooks (talk) 09:06, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
- As a heads up on the official English title, Amazon currently lists the fourth book as The Twelve Kingdoms: Skies of Dawn. Might still be subject to change, but it looks like the article's title will have to change eventually. EikaKou (talk) 06:12, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
- "Skies of Dawn" is bad English IMO. I hope that title changes to something else, e.g. "The Dawn Skies". We'd better hold off on any move. Billebrooks (talk) 08:11, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
- As I understand it, the japanese language makes no difference of singular and plural forms. It might be "The Sky at dawn","The Skies at the dawns","The Sky at the dawns" or "The Skies at dawn". --217.76.87.120 (talk) 12:08, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
- Admittedly, this is not the most accurate translation of the title. I'm not suggesting any moving until the English version has been published and released - titles can be tentative. But when if the title is different from the current article's title, I think it should be moved, in order to be consistent with the first 3 books have articles to reflect the English titles rather than an unofficial (though possibly more accurate) translation of the title.
