"Expand" template[edit]

Thanks to the member of Wikiproject Albums who responded to my request for assessment, and re-rated this article from "stub" to "start". They also added an "expand" template to the article, which I've taken the liberty of removing. Looking at Requests For Expansion, it seems the template is intended to be used for specific article expansion requests to be posted on the RFE page. As a general suggestion to expand the article, I find the template to be distracting and unnecessary. As mentioned on RFE, if a Wikipedia article isn't a Featured Article, the assumption is that it should be expanded and improved. That said, I agree with what the "expand' template said about this article. "Please help improve this article or section by expanding it." -- Mudwater 12:44, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem if you want to remove it. Cleanup tags are usually added to articles to suggest how to bring the article up to the next level on the assessment scale. If you are happy to expand the article yourself, then it's OK to remove the tag. Otherwise, it may be useful to leave it so that the article attracts the attention of other editors who are knowledgeable about the subject. It's entirely your choice. - Alex valavanis 23:46, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. Thanks for explaining. -- Mudwater 00:02, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
