Reorganizing LED-related pages
[edit]There are 23 different LED-related pages, and I think there should be less than half that many. I've started a discussion on this at Talk:Light-emitting_diode#An_absurd_number_of_articles_involving_light-emitting_diodes; please come and join in. -- Dan Griscom (talk) 03:06, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
"Thermal Management"
[edit]The usage and topic of Thermal Management is under discussion, see talk:Thermal management of electronic devices and systems -- 70.51.200.135 (talk) 06:57, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
"filament" style bulbs
[edit]Please update article with info about liquid cooling of LED light bulbs; and the thermal management in the newer "filament" style bulbs, which seem to primarily rely on fairly direct heat transfer to gas rather than depending on solid heat sinks.-71.174.185.30 (talk) 18:22, 20 May 2017 (UTC)
- Started, wish I could find something that talks about the science in more detail. Have to look for a patent number, that often links to useful information. --Wtshymanski (talk) 19:05, 20 May 2017 (UTC)
