Merge proposal

Hi -

I'm not in favour of this merge. My reasons are detailed at Talk:Tilapia. There's too much confusion and separating the articles assists greatly in reducing the confusion! MidgleyDJ 10:38, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notice to proposer: please understand that tilapiine cichlids are a taxonomic group including general NOT considered "tilapias" as far as aquaculture and conservation go. So merging them will cause confusion. Neale Monks 11:09, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
