So, what is the story about Tom and the next election? Any news?

Has he stopped sounding like a wealthy Repuplican by trying to fight the windmill power in the finger lakes? (NIMBY for "not in my back yard")

Actually, now he is funding community based windmill projects. And whatever the merits of windmills (mainly economic, not energy) they shouldn't be put in the Finger Lakes, but somewhere where it will actually do some good. J. Passepartout

Bizarre Sentence

"...however his libertarian views have often put him at odds with the extremist religious wing of the party."
Since when does the Reform Party have an "extremist, religious wing?"
Or a religious wing, for that matter?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Dick Lamm-who supports euthanasia and opposes any legislative restrictions on abortion-almost win the Reform Party nomination in 1996?

Needs more references

Given the rise of the Independence Party and third-party movements, and Golisano's defeat of Pataki in the primary, there have probably been articles or books written about them by academics or analysts or the NY Times that would add to the weight and substance of this article. It needs more references and in-text citations. --Parkwells (talk) 14:32, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

There's a link at the bottom of Golisano's page of "the richest American politicians", but Golisano's not on the list. Why is this linked to his page? 74.69.11.229 (talk) 19:32, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
