Source of confusion about the color tomato[edit]

I was unaware of the preceding deletion debate when I created this article today. The confusion seems to arise from the fact that the color tomato is not the color of an actual tomato, but of tomato soup. I pointed this out in the article. Keraunos (talk) 01:57, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reconsideration of observation about the color of tomatoes[edit]

By viewing tomatoes under full spectrum flourescent lamps, I have come to realize that this IS the actual color of a common supermarket tomato. However, many vine-ripened tomatoes are a bit redder. Keraunos (talk) 17:07, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
