I was able to get into what remains of the park last fall (2010) before cold weather set into the region. There seems to be some type of development adjacent to the upper parking area, I tried to investigate it but the road that had apparently been cut into the woods by a bull dozer was to rough even for my 4x4. I can only assume this is for logging or natural gas purposes. The buildings described in the article are still standing. Most of the rail bed away from the park has become so overgrown that to an untrained eye you would never know that a railway had ever been laid there. The buildings were so overgrown with brush and in such disrepair and add to that we were unarmed, so we did not find any interest in exploring their interiors. The closest buildings to the park property, a hotel and a local gas station about a mile north have been abandon and partially demolished. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jill Orly (talkcontribs) 03:40, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Have we decided to add as many edit tags as possible now that the deletion request was denied? Seems like overkill for an article that needs moderate improvement. J.Rly (talk) 05:44, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It now appears that not only has the gas station between the falls and the entrance to the old park has been razed to its concrete foundation but the hotel on the far side of the park entrance has been almost completely demolished by both disrepair and vandalism. The entrance to the parking lot of the park is as of this date impassable due to large trees and telephone pole having been placed in the road where the gate once stood. Any further investigation would have to be made on foot, which I was not able to accomplish on this date. The property is not posted. J.Rly (talk) 19:30, 12 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The nearby Eagle Falls Resort has now been auctioned off and the property is sitting abandoned. The ajacent Country Store is also abandoned. Much of the interior of the hotel is still intact but is moderately to heavily damaged due to exposure to the elements through broken windows and open doors, along with destruction from vandalization. The property has closed signs but there were no "keep out" or "no trespassing" signs visible. I did not enter the buildings for fear of structural damage or collapse.
