Added References

[edit]

I have added more references from third party sources. The first new one in particular is referenced itself and gives a complete description of the geography of the cave. The others are not as good, but they are only used to back up the statement that some people hold a certain opnion. There aren't a great deal of reliable, third-party sources for Tolkien's works, or at least ones I have access to, so try to verify their reliability and remove them/add more references as necessary. I think the tag can be removed now but I think it's best to wait until I can be sure. --Qmwne235 21:45, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If this article is to be merged with Cirith Ungol, I'd like to have a reason first. I'm not going to argue against it, as I trust the judgement of thw Wikiproject and administrators over my own. However, I'd like a specific reason, and an opportunity for me to fix the problem. I'm guessing that it's something related to notability. Note that Torech Ungol is completely separated from Cirith Ungol; perhaps there would be a better article into which to merge this. --Qmwne235 23:28, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have now merged it to Minor places in Middle-earth#Torech Ungol, mostly because the only real-world notability described in the article was the adaption in the Jackson films. De728631 (talk) 16:52, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
