Contextually; Townhill is the most deprived ward in Swansea, and the sixth most deprived ward in Wales. Suffering from extremely high unemployment (was at 16% in 2000 and will now be rising due to the credit crisis), an area of high 'multiple deprivation' as its problems are in no single area. --Barnaby Dobson87.114.68.154 (talk) 11:48, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
