Carloalbertosartor (talk) 00:20, 13 June 2012 (UTC) Today I added or corrected some terms to Wikipedia, because there was some lacks of informations. "Transductor" thus present in Webster Dictionary, was absent from wikipedia. So I rapidly fill it in some way.... Now I'm informed by you (thank!) that there is a Transducer article (that mixes transducter/transducer with other objects, not a great problem if explained). I can enrich existing article with some important specifications but effectively the existing article contains Transducer informations. So you surely can delete it. Thanks!
A transductor is a specific type of transducer. Forwarding it to the transducer article is improper without a specific mention of a transductor in the tranducer article because the words are not synonymous. The original forward to the Magnetic amplifier is more appropriate, as a transductor is essentially a magnetic amplifier used as a transducer.--Mongo83 (talk) 13:20, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
- According to the definition in the transducer article, "a transducer is a device that converts a signal in one form of energy to another form of energy." You may quickly check that the definition of transducer does not match with the principle of transductor. So, a transductor is not a specific type of a transducer. ——Nikolas Ojala (talk) 11:05, 27 September 2014 (UTC)
