I have addressed the flag for bringing this entry into line with Wikipedia standards. The original entry, I found, was almost entirely cut and pasted from a single website, so it needed more than just the layout and sourcing that the flag called for. I mean no disrespect to the prior authors. Authoritative as that original source is, I felt it made sense to correct this violation by going back to original publications as much as possible. I also considered it important to bring in more current references. In the course of revising the entry, however, I find I have several sources cited in the original which I do not cite in this new version. I am not sure where to put them, as the original did not have specific footnotes, only a list of references. The prior authors may wish to re-insert them showing where they support specific information in the entry; I believe I have fully incorporated every salient point made by the previous authors, so this should be easy for them to do. Therefore I will list the now-orphaned citations here. They are: Engmann, Birk; Reuter, Mike: A case history of sudden memory dysfunction – caused by transient epileptic amnesia. Akt Neurol 2003; 30: 350-353 Mendes, Marcelo Heitor: Transient epileptic amnesia: an under-diagnosed phenomenon? Three more cases. Seizure. 2002 Jun; 11(4): 238-242 PMID: 12027570 Rabinowicz, Adrián L.; Starkstein, Sergio E.; Leiguarda, Ramón C.; Coleman, Anton E: Transient epileptic amnesia in dementia: a treatable unrecognised cause of episodic amnestic wandering. Alzheimer Dis Assoc Disord. 2000 Oct-Dec; 14(4): 231-233. Zeman, A., & Hodges, J., "Transient global amnesia and transient epileptic amnesia ", Memory Disorders in Psychiatric Practice, editors G. Berrios, & J. Hodges. Cambridge University Press (2000) Also, please note that the previous version had a citation for Manes, F., Hodges, J.R., Graham, K.S., et al. with an incorrect date of 2005. I have made the correction, to 2001 in the new version. Alawa (talk) 19:44, 14 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
