Unless there is a citable discussion of the meaning/inspiration for a song by it's lyricist it is hard to see how an interpretation can be other than unencyclopedic guesswork. Judging by the last verse it appears to refer to someone accidentally awakening from cryonic suspension. Pretzelpaws 01:01, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
avalanche[edit]
This seems like it's talking about being trapped after your caught in an avalanche, since most of the time after you are caught in one the snow usually locks you in place and you can't move, and you really are "trapped under ice". and of course noone can hear you scream.
