Traveling ForgeTraveling forge — This article was moved from Traveling forge (now a redirect) two or three years ago. However, I think that the original name (lower-case f) complies with the current style guide, WP:LOWERCASE. The article itself uses a lower case f throughout. Battery wagon with forge limber[edit]

During the ACW the travelling forge and the battery wagon were towed behind limbers, as described in this article. However, the Handbook of Artillery ([[1]]), published in 1920, shows on page 143 the "forge limber, model of 1902." The battery wagon was towed behind the forge limber, which amongst other things meant that six fewer horses were needed to move everything. Can someone determine when the change was made, and add the information to this article? 24.61.4.237 (talk) 13:07, 25 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
