Restoring Yeats reference
[edit]Can we restore a section mentioning the song's clear basis in Yeats' "No Second Troy"? I see it was removed on 11 September 2017 by User:Dom Kaos due to the lack of citation. Would this suffice:
- McManus, Darragh (2015-09-05). "From Sinead O'Connor's Troy to Wall Street - 10 times William Butler Yeats influenced pop culture". Irish Independent. Retrieved 2019-06-30.
It's not proof of O'Connor's intent per se, but given the fact that the largest newspaper in Ireland felt it obvious enough to publish this as an example of one of Ireland's most famous singers alluding to one of their most famous poets, it really should be mentioned. Also given that this song is still linked in the Yeats infobox, and yet when you follow that link the article for the song doesn't mention Yeats once. Could we at least mention that it is frequently *interpreted* as such? Not only by the Independent but also professional or semi-professional sources here, here, here, here and here?
