The original of paragraph four read:

It was only when more affluent whites began gentrifying the area that they researched its history and began using the name Truxton Circle...

This may be considered inflammatory, but I feel it should be reverted because it is true.68.55.115.149 19:30, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Not true. The neighborhood has been known as Truxton Circle since the traffic circle was built around 1900. And a local neighborhood association, Truxton Circle Coalition, has existed since at least 1991, well before "affluent whites" moved into the neighborhood. ~ Quacks Like a Duck (talk) 18:40, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Changes and documentation

[edit]

I'm making some changes to the Wiki article on Truxton Circle as I have citations to back it up. However, I need to look at the editing guidelines to figure out how to get some of the cites to show up. Inshaw 11:53, 17 May 2007 (UTC)Marie aka InShaw[reply]

I've found the source for the statements that need citation: http://www.washingtoncitypaper.com/display.php?id=29917. As soon as I can figure out the protocols on making edits, I'll drop the citation into the article. --Peregrinato (talk) 15:19, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
