it would be accurate to say that Tultepec is in the southernmost portion of the eastern part of Mexico state. The annual fireworks fair is during a week in March, Tuesday through Monday containing March 8, which is the fiesta of San Juan de Dios. The principal events are held both the Saturday prior and the weekend during this time, as well as on March 8. There are many competitions and exhibitions during this period and the actual days of each are subject to modification each year. This is not a tourist area, so it is difficult to find hotel accommodations in the area.
