The IHL ended after the 2000-2001 season. Another League was formed with the same name in 2007 and lasted for three seasons, but was similar in name only. The HHOF does not recognize it as a continuation of the original IHL. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 16:07, 29 May 2013 (UTC)

Missing Turner Cup[edit]

In 1990 I ran a nightclub on the northeast side of Indianapolis called Ike & Jonesy's Too. One day I arrived at work and there was a large trophy on my desk in the office. Having no idea what it was I put it where I put most valuable stuff too big for the safe-the walk in cooler. It stayed there for several days. I was not a hockey fan at the time but I recalled hearing that the Indianapolis Ice had won their division. After several days I got a call from an official with the was Ice asking if we had seen their trophy, it was then I realized what I had in the cooler and the came and picked up the Turner Cup.
