Are you sure this is called the White Bridge? I see references to a White Bridge in Turner's Falls, but they're for an old suspension bridge removed around 1936. Did they name the new bridge the same, and are you sure this one is in the same location? - Denimadept13:14, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Currently, the "White" bridge refers to the shorter bridge over the canal adjacent to this bridge and the Connecticut River; Yes, the previous suspension bridge which this bridge replaced was best known as the "White" bridge.
