Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... because anyone who marks a pre-internet band for deletion when the page indicates notability is a dick. Speedy deletion is for things that are not notable, not things that are likely notable but missing sources.

  • a dozen incoming links before article creation
  • pre-internet, 1989 media sources exist, I've asked an ex-member for some. I'll add sourced material when it arrives.
  • They were THE COVER PHOTO on a few hip-hop/rap/dance magazines from that era. You know, the kind with four page pullout posts that girls hung up in their bedroom?
  • bad faith nomination, did the nominator do a basic search to see their music is still well represented on streaming services and review sites 30 years after their first single?
  • notability for music has a criteria that they were signed to a major indy label. Profile Records was a major indy label for NE USA hip-hop/dance bands. That's linked.
