Deletion

[edit]

-I would proposed this article for deletion since there is currently not official USL Chicago team. There are other expansion teams that have owners, managers, brands, and contracts for stadia that do not yet have dedicated team articles. USL Chicago will likely deserve an article, but the team does not yet have the organization. Sedriskell (talk) 02:26, 19 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Seconding the motion for deletion.

Sterling Bay scrapped the 20,000-seat stadium from its Lincoln Yards development on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. https://www.chicagotribune.com/business/columnists/ori/ct-biz-lincoln-yards-stadium-entertainment-rejected-ryan-ori-20190108-story.html As a result, Tom Ricketts pulled the plug on the proposed Chicago USL franchise. http://www.sportspromedia.com/news/chicago-usl-stadium-cubs-owner-tom-ricketts Deletion of this article is highly recommended.
