I added the Latin translation for "Silentum Excubitor" ("Silent Sentinel"). I served on the Albuquerque years ago and we were always told it meant "Silent Executioner." This is however erroneous. The error probably stemmed from the similarity of the Latin word "excubitor" to the English "executioner" and declining knowledge of Latin. It is still misreported on one of the Navy web pages about the Albuquerque [1], despite my having reported the error long ago.155.43.207.54 15:06, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
This whole article is unreferenced. All of this info should be deleted--much like on the USS Topeka (SSN-754) page. If it's not referenced, it didn't happen! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.5.55.167 (talk) 02:44, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
