Not destroyed by fire in 1908

That's definitely the Aurora bridge, which was completed in '32, and the name of the vessel is clear to read.

The article's source is the august Dictionary of American Naval Fighting Ships. I'm merely a passerby. I've got no expertise either, but this seems to be accurate. Link above is dead, but https://www.loc.gov/resource/cph.3c05753/ appears to be the same.

Upgraded page

Replaced old blue infobox with newest ship infobox and inserted appropriate data. Smoothed first paragraph to show ship's career. Wikified existing text. Added 'see also', refs, cat, minor fixes, links, edits, spelling fixes, etc.Wikited (talk) 01:33, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
