Sunken Warships programme
[edit]Claims that USS Murphy was sunk in 1943 by a German submarine in 1943. This is completely at odds with most of the article. The collision with the tanker is covered in the programme. Mjroots (talk) 07:39, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
- Panic over! It was incorrect information given in the trailer.Mjroots (talk) 07:59, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
- The show was about visiting the bow section. There is no mystery. As a matter of fact, I would suggest that whole section that says "She was struck 1 November 1970, new evidence shows that Murphy was not sold for scrap but the destroyer actually sunk, the US Navy still not admitting to the sinking of the ship." should be removed from the article, if the only "evidence" was that TV show.
