GA review (see here for criteria)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose): b (MoS):
Much of the article is still a direct copy of DANFS. What' worse is that the text isn't even attributed to DANFS - this is plagiarism and completely unacceptable.
Still issues with close paraphrasing - see for instance While approaching her berth in Hagushi anchorage just after sunset on 12 May, New Mexico was attacked by two kamikazes, which is rather close to While she was approaching her berth in the Hagushi anchorage, just after sunset on 12 May, she was attacked by two kamikazes
    Several duplicate links Done
De-bold the "Battle of Newark Bay" in the lead or the body Done
    Fixed this myself.
    "had a turbo-electric transmission" Done
Condense the short 2- and 3-sentence paragraphs - there's no reason to have the prose chopped up like that. Done
Be consistent in your linking - for example, why is Attu linked and not Kiska? Done
Also make sure you link obvious other topics, like Aleutian Islands Campaign and W. John Kenney - also fix the link for Kavieng Done
When the invasion was underway, which was 20 November... - this is awkward Done
Make sure your refs are in proper order - for example, the bundled refs "[15][4]" should be reversed. Done
No need to italicize kamikaze, the word is common in English. Done
No need to split up the references by type, especially when there are only 1 or 2 per type apart from the books. Done
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
Please choose a single ref format and standardize - either short names in the citations or full references, but not both. Done
Have a look at Rohwer's Chronology of the War at Sea for further info on WWII operations Done
Ditto for Nofi's To Train The Fleet For War for stuff on interwar training Done
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
Please add a description section, as in USS Michigan (BB-27) - this is a standard expectation. Done
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
The lead and 3rd image have dead source links Done
Why is the last image forced so large? Done
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
