from 92-99 wasnt this ship at la maddelena, sardinia, italy?

This ship is moored alongside the ex-McKee (AS-41) at NNSY in a nest configuration. I.E. you have to cross the McKee to get on the ex-Simon Lake. They are both in pretty bad shape visually, but I've been looking into accompanying a shipyard worker onboard to see the condition of the ship's interrior. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.183.161.117 (talk) 19:16, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
