Sale to India[edit]

I've added details about the Indian acquisition and corrected a few (lots of) spelling errors. Hope no one minds--71.163.64.48 22:36, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've expanded on the Indian purchase of the vesselNatobxl 00:23, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Split?[edit]

Perhaps it's time to split the article into seperate ones for Trenton and Jalashva? - Aerobird 15:04, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fatal Collision on January 17, 1977[edit]

There is a memorial statue in Barcelona. Spain that reads "In memory of the members of the US Navy and US Marine Corps serving on the USS Guam and the USS Trenton who perished in this port on 17 January 1977, and in gratitude to the citizens, officials and rescue teams of Barcelona for their cooperation with the US Forces". See http://www.navsource.org/archives/10/09/0914.htm. There is currently no mention of this in the article and I am not familiar enough with the facts to provide information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tobydavid (talkcontribs) 21:27, 26 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

1972 "Incident" JAG Investigstion?[edit]

I found a mention about a "near race riot" in 1972 But while I found citations to the report, I can't find the report itself.

Capt Elmer Hill Kahill JAG Manual Investigation to Inquire into the Circumstances Surrounding an Incident Involving Private Raines, USMC Which Occurred on board USS Trenton (LPD-14) Which Occurred During the night of 19 November 1972 and early morning 20 November 1972. 31 December 1972 Records of the Judge Advocate General

Could someone find this report and post what's available — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1003:B003:7E4D:0:0:0:103 (talk) 02:37, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why this 10 year gap in its history? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:8805:5800:F500:F41C:7FF1:9F72:2284 (talk) 17:08, 6 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
