This is almost certainly the same word in a different spelling. There is an "Umfreville Road" in Haringey, which I speculate is named after someone from this family. Where would we be able to check the origin of the road name? DavidFarmbrough (talk) 13:46, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Look into the historic Jewish rabbinical school at Falaise. The Jews and Muslims of Falaise town seem to foredate the Dukes of Normandy.
