I think this list should be merged into List of Washington, D.C. embassies. There are only a handful of countries without embassies in Washington, D.C. (6 countries represented only at the United Nations in New York, Guinea-Bissau with it's embassy nearby in Rockville, Maryland, and 3 countries with no diplomatic relations - Cuba, North Korea, and Somolia). I agree, it is confusing and already lost any interest with this/these article(s).
