Name of the article

[edit]

I don't think the European dates should be included in this article as the particular name (Up Close and Personal) only refers to the club shows in the US in Feb 2012. "Up Close and Personal" is obviously named that way because GN'R are only playing small intimate venues. The European concerts are big festivals and arena/stadium shows, therefore not a part of the Feb mini tour, but should instead be included in a new article forward on the timeline. Alternatively, you can name this article "World Tour 2012" and include the "Up Close and Personal" name as a leg of the tour. 88.89.93.152 (talk) 15:50, 14 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"It's unknown whether the small-scale theme will continue through to the summer dates across Europe" the UK tour is in the biggest arenas in the UK, no small gigs. although i do not know whether it is officially the "up close and personal tour" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.20.201.105 (talk) 17:02, 29 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed split

[edit]

The Up Close and Personal club/theater tour was separate from the summer European tour of arenas. I'm proposing we split them up, is any experienced Wikipedia editor up to the task of splitting it? YouCanDoBetter (talk) 05:24, 26 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose for lack of notability as a standalone. Removing tag after 18+ months.DLManiac (talk) 07:19, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
