"Virginia Rappe, a star of silent films in the 1920s, died of a ruptured bladder and peritonitis after attending a party hosted by actor Fatty Arbuckle. It is believed her death was caused by allegedly being so violently raped by Arbuckle, her bladder ruptured, resulting in her death three days later. She was 26 years old."
