Redundant with existing page?
[edit]This article is redundant with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_routing_and_forwarding and should hence probably be deleted. VPN Routing and Forwarding just another name for Virtual Routing and Forwarding. Citation: http://www.firstdigest.com/2009/08/cisco-the-basics-about-vrf-implementation/
- Looks like VPN routing and forwarding may be the Cisco implementation of Virtual routing and forwarding. I have put up merge banners directing further discussion here. ~KvnG 13:11, 25 July 2014 (UTC)
- When looking at Juniper's documentation, I've found two concept topics for VRF which are word-for-word, but the newer version uses Virtual Routing and Forwarding, rather than VPN Routing and Forwarding. Either Cisco complained hence the document was changed, or Juniper are just using the terms interchangeably. I'm going with the latter. Thoricha91 (talk) 18:43, 10 September 2014 (UTC)
