Vespertilio parisiensis
[edit]The taxobox image from an old book is obviously dubious. It probably depicts a bat fossil assigned to the genus Vespertilio back in 1876, but is no more considered part of the genus. The Paleobiology Database [1] has no entry for such species as Vespertilio parisienis. A google search gave also no results apart from wikipedia and sites derived from it (and the original 1876 book).--Kaarel (talk) 03:31, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
- Then it must be an obscure junior synonym of something (probably another Vespertilio species), should be able to track down somehow. FunkMonk (talk) 07:24, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
- It's apparently Cuvierimops parisiensis, a molossid [2]. Ucucha 07:33, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
