What about this place today? is it possible to determine where exactly the photo was taken, or the buildings do not exist anymore?-- (talk) 08:19, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

I've been there and compared the two. Unfortunately, it seems everything has changed from the time of Niepce, although the room from where he took his famous photo is still there. (talk) 13:41, 24 September 2012 (UTC)


The history of photography article lists a different photograph from a year prior by the same guy as the oldest. Jason Quinn (talk) 15:13, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
