There are important place which are linked to this place.[reply]

Accuracy?

[edit]

What is the name of this village? "Vijayapuri (South)" as in the title, or "VijayPuri south" (no "a" before the "p") as in the text? PamD 20:32, 2 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) --Nareshgali (talk) 18:18, 4 December 2015 (UTC) The comment is right, this was a typo. Name should be Vijayapuri South ( my text has a missig 'a' in front of 'p'). For this correction I referred official Indian government postal website. When I searched with pin code, it gave me the text "Vijayapuri South". This is the reference. Also, it is referred in official website of Indian census. [1][reply]

Questions

[edit]

There are a few things I am not quite sure I understand.

  • "Andhra Pradesh Residential Junior College, Andhra Pradesh, is situated in this village."
Is there any reason for repeating the "Andhra Pradesh"?
  • "Though it is often referred to as Nagarjuna sagar, the official location is Vijayapuri south."
I just added the "to" because it sounds more like English to me, but I may be totally wrong about that. I don't really understand what the sentence is supposed to mean. The Junior College is referred to as "Nagarjuna sagar"? Why? And what does that mean?
And what does that have to do with its location? Is "Nagarjuna sagar" a place name? In that case, "referred to" would probably be the wrong verb altogether.
