I deleted the following sentence, it seems like vandalism to me:

Vito is a new slang word, which basically means someone who complains to everybody about everything and never stops. Vito's are often fat and they usually eat all the time.

In my research I have found no connection between the name "Vito" and the names "Guido" or "Guy." Do not make this statement without a proper citation. "Vito" is not related to the German name "Witta" and such a claim would require similar citation. The Latin name "Vitus," the precursor to "Vito," predates both the story of Witta of Buraburg and the Ottoman ("Saracen") invasion of the Balkan states by several centuries, so it is clear that the name migrated from Italy to Germany and the Balkans, not the other way around. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.255.54.127 (talk) 00:55, 11 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
