What is the point of this entry?
[edit](copied from Ngamatapouri - this article being the only internal link available) The only people who are likely to be able to tell, straight off and without access to a reference book, which Island (North or South), which District, and the nearest main area of population, are the inhabitants of the sodding place and the local neighbourhood. It is just a little barren of relevant information for people who might use this encyclopedia to find out where the place bloody is! LessHeard vanU (talk) 22:59, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
- OK, I agree Ngamatapouri would have been hard for an outsider to tell, but in this one, it mentioned that the river reaches the South Taranaki Bight, so it's not exactly hard to deduce where it is. If you're that geographically clueless that you can't tell where the South Taranaki Bight is by its name, its article is only a click away. Well, for clarity's sake, I just edited the article to include the correct island. - Axver (talk) 23:06, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
Tuna
[edit]Would I be correct in thinking that the reference to tuna is to eels (tuna is the Māori name for the NZ eel) rather than the deepwater fish?dramatic (talk) 09:10, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
